Opportunity knocks and I find myself on the coast of San Francisco.  So without hesitation I decided to hit up the second half of some of California's Best.

Berkeley was the first park I hit up during my Nor Cal adventures.  I came for an evening session and when I arrived there was not a soul to be found skating.  Looked just like the picture above.  This place has great flow and it was super fun cruising around having the place to myself.  I have heard this place can become a collision course when fully occupied, so the odds were in my favor.  Soon enough a local shows up and informs me that the park police have just started enforcing the helmet rule, kicking anyone out not wearing one.  In protest most of the locals refused to skate the place and took off to bomb hills.
