This year Ski Roundtop hosted two primary events at the R-Games.  A Rail Jam on Friday night and a Big-Air Contest on Saturday night.  We had the pleasure of playing slope side both nights.  It was a little chilly, but so much fun it didn't matter. A big carpet was laid out where we could set up and jam.  The Roundtop office crew brought forth vehicles to haul our equipment around the ski slopes and even broke everything down on Friday night while we got some riding in.  A big thanks goes out to Jim, Ray, and Dave.

The Rail Jam had over 150 contestants (Elvis was there for sure) and sported one of the most glamorous rails on the East coast.  The rail was in three tiered sections. Each section had triggers that would cause it to light up to indicate how far the rider went.  On the sides of the rail were graphics showing cards, dice, poker chips, slot machines, and the words "Viva Las Vegas".  Whoever lit it up the most won all the money.

The Big Air contest had less contestants, but proved to be the larger of the spectator events.  Ski patrol was standing by waiting for a big spill, but luckily nobody got injured. The crowd lined the fence and rocked out to the sounds of NagChaumpa.  We even got word that those in the lodge could hear the tunes while sipping on hot chocolate.  Another excellent R-Games wrapped up.
