Hello and Goodbye
          The Chaumpa Ramp Party - August 15, 2003
     This very sweet and happy East Coast Skater was leaving town and flocking off to seek new territory in the lands out west.  We couldn't think of a better way to say goodbye than to throw the very first Chaumpa ramp party.
     So the date was set and well she wasn't quite yet finished.  I am amazed by the work and effort put forth by the Bowie Crew to install the finishing touches in just the nick of time.... laying the coping and installing the platforms....pulling late nights after work.  I can't believe coping this perfect was laid down under the stars... then again it is that perfect.  Many, many thanks!!!    
         
August 15, 2003, approximately 4pm she is swept clean and then... the first session began...
