       "The 2004 Checkers Series was Great! Over 200 skaters from all over the Mid-Atlantic, Canada, and the midwest got together for three weekends of high energy skating, hanging with friends, and a lot of fun.... Complete results are posted on www.checkersseries.com.... I sincerely thank all of our sponsors and hard working volunteers who made the series a reality.... Planning has already started for next year. Come join us next summer for great skating with a tremendous group of people."
