Steve in Europe!!!! Oh No...

Finally some pictures from the other side of the pond. As promised here is a synopsis of my trip to Europe. I was able to ski, skate, and meet a ton of interesting people.  This trip would not have been possible without the help of the friends I met along the way. So before I begin I would like to give some thanks; Jamaican Jennie, Christian and Solvejg for letting me stay with them in Berlin, Sabrina and her family for the being so very generous and letting stay at their Gasthof, Martin and Johnnie for kidnapping me for a weekend, and all the random people along the way I shared  good times with.  Big Thanks!!

Amsterdam: This was the only time I saw this ramp when it was dry and I was sober so I never got to really skate it.  Yupp... good beer in Amsterdam. ha ha!   It's everything it can be, check it out sometime.

Berlin: You can party all night in this city and there is even a walking wiener man. Stop in to Titus Skates in the Alexanderplatz they can help out with some places to skate.
Following are some skate spots I was able to visit:
1. Finally a sunny day in Berlin, but not dry.  Skated around until I slipped and busted my ass.

2. This thing was fun. it was kinda like skating some boobs. Nothing to grind though.

3. More wetness but it was fun anyway.  Same here, skated until the impending slam.
4. The longest surviving section of the Berlin Wall is now an art exhibit and monument. I thought there might be wheels marks on this painting... look close, yup!

                                 Prague

Must be a traveling skater? ECRW, Skatopia stickers.
Prague is cold in February. It snowed nearly everyday.

Mystic skate park: Home of the European world championships and the mystic skate club.  I was very surprised to see the amount of skaters braving the cold on the street course when... ...

... there is a mini bowl in the mystic skate club only a few yards away.  Everyone there was super cool and fun to skate with.  my hands were warm enough to get some pics of the clubs best.  I skated five days ending each session with a cold Czech beer in the bar right below the bowl.

I had one last session at the skate club. Then, I sold my board and my skate shoes that didn't fit to lighten the load and headed for Austria.

                                                              Austria

Innsbruck:  This is really one of the best places I've ever been to.  Its a cool little city surrounded by massive mountains. I got to ski at four different mountains and was blessed with new snow several days.

The most exciting day of the trip would have to be seeing a F.I.S. world cup down hill at St. Anton.  seeing these guys go by at 80 m.p.h. gave me a whole new respect for them..

Thanks again to everyone who helped along the way.
