Florida Road Trip
                                                                                        February 12-15, 2004

We had four days from Jacksonville to West Palm Beach to skate the East Coast of Florida.  We got rained out at our first destination: Kona, which was a warning signal the black cloud would be following us on this particular journey.

Florida is the sunshine state, so with a little soul searching we escaped the Kona thunder just 40 minutes down south in St. Augustine where we found Treaty Park. (Team Pain Built, Team Pain Beautiful!!!)

Then that little black cloud came following us again, so we hit the road for Orlando.  While some fell victim to the little black cloud, others escaped through to the shelter of Vans Orlando.

The little black cloud rained us out of Orlando Skate Park and Oveido Skate Park, so we hit the road in search of sunshine.  Us Davidsonville swamp monsters ended up finding ourselves some buried treasure in the Florida marshes, but unfortunately the little black cloud was stiff on our tail.

Back on the road we high tailed it down south to West Palm where we heard word that was where the sunshine was lurking.  Once again the little black cloud caught up with us.  But this time only to say goodbye, leaving us with a beautifully perfect evening session at the YMCA Oelsner Skate Park.
