Wanchese! 
Showed up early and got some runs in
before the crowds came. And the crowds did come. Ended up
having a great skate session and a priceless party later that
night. I had some great pics of Bart passing out with a
beer in his hand. Sunglasses... where did they come
from? Jack Frost, yeah he was there. Great pics of
the party... unfortunately they all got deleted....but ONE! Oh
well... had to be there I guess. Then again with the one
pic and a great imagination......
Some top skate highlights would have
to be Packy and Chet Childress. Packy was
beating the cold by hanging upside down like a bat most of the
time. Did anyone see the Backside
Boneless in the keyhole? Chances are you did but you
might have missed him Thead
the Needle? Somehow I caught a pic of it.
When Chet wasn't changing in and out of
warm clothes, he was just killing the death box. Saw him
pull off a huge backside air to disaster. Later on he
moved to the oververt section doing 50 stalls and board slides.
Jesse soon showed up and didn't
seem to let the cold slow him down. Maybe it was all that time
in Colorado? His runs were nearly flawless. Here a Movie
that is worth downloading. (especially if you havent seen
the cheese much). On top of that, I think I saw him do a
Nose pick on the deathbox. I was taking pictures at the
time and snapped one... can you believe
I caught it too!!!
Pat Clark was obviously fueled
by the excitement. Board Slides 1/4 around the keyhole and Rock
N Rolls on the oververt. What more could you ask for?
Conclusion: School is being
held daily at Wanchese... go get yours! Till then
